About Me

I’m into:
Playing soccer and basketball. I also enjoy going to the golf range, hiking, running, going to the beach, travelling and spending time with friends.

My Skills:
I graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2016. During my time at university, I worked with a variety of clients with conditions including cardiorespiratory/metabolic, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. I abide by a holistic bio-psycho-social approach towards improving health – using evidence-based exercise programs, combining various forms of exercise in tandem with education, to not only improve health but also make exercise more enjoyable.

I have developed a keen interest in working with clients presenting with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease from the year I spent at St Vincent’s Hospital doing stroke research.

As someone who has played sport for nearly my whole life, I have experienced a multitude of injuries and have a deep appreciation of what my patients are going through. I understand the benefits of graded exercise and rehabilitation in improving the overall quality of life. Seeing clients improve their level of independence and ability to manage their conditions gives me great satisfaction and pride in my work.

Achievements:
Represented Sydney University Soccer Football Club in the NSW Super League
Represented Dunbar Rover’s Football Club first grade Men’s team in the NSW NPL3
Represented Imperial Eagles in the NSW Futsal State League

Favourite Exercises:
Running, strength training, push-ups and literally any ball sports

My Philosophy:

“If you push me towards something that you think is a weakness, then I will turn that perceived weakness into a strength”

– Michael Jordan
